Flag-bearer of Muzayna
At the conquest of Makkah, “the Muzayna tribe passed next. They were a thousand strong who included a hundred horsemen and they carried three flags. Reviving a Sunnah
He narrated the Prophet ﷺ saying: “The person who revives a Sunnah of mine that had died after me shall receive the rewards of all those who practise it without any of their rewards being diminished.” 2 Hayatus Sahaba · Vol 1 · pp. 47 — Kandhlawi — Bilal ibn al-Harith's hadith on the reward of reviving a Sunnah.

In the Year of Ashes
In the Year of Ashes, Bilal came to Umar and said: “I am a messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to you.
