A Sahabi’s Adab
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Khuraym is an excellent man — if only he did not let his hair grow long and his garment fall below his ankles.”
On hearing this, Khuraym immediately cut his hair to mid-ear and raised his lower garment. 1 Hayatus Sahaba · Vol 2 · pp. 374 — Kandhlawi — Khuraym ibn Aws cuts his hair and raises his garment on hearing the Prophet's ﷺ words.
