The Grapes at Ta’if

After the people of Ta’if had set their slaves to stone the Prophet ﷺ and driven him from the city bleeding, he stopped in the orchard of Utba and Shayba. They sent their slave Addas with a tray of grapes. ’He Was My Brother’

The Prophet ﷺ asked: “Is this the same Nineveh where the devout servant of Allah, Yunus ibn Matta, lived?” Addas was astonished: how could a Bedouin from Makkah know of Yunus?
